As part of the RAKEZ smart lighting expansion, supplied and commissioned 1000+ LED street lights
Deployed across Al Hamra and Al Ghail Industrial Zones to extend smart lighting coverage
Integrated LoRaWAN-based smart controllers for long-range and reliable communication
Installed Hansagreen Falcon G LED street lights for this expansion phase
Enabled centralized monitoring through a cloud-based smart lighting platform
The Challenges:
Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone were lit by traditional Metal Halide lamps
There was no way meeting the green criteria due to its high energy consumption and high usage costs
The lumen depreciation was one of the major reasons
Client was interested in remote controlling and monitoring the street lights
The Tailored Solution:
Hansa Green LED came to a single tailored solution to match all the requirements given by the client, ie, IoT-based smart street light
Our 100W PeIican D Street lights, with 140lm/W, replaced 250W Metal Halide luminaires
Smart systems were also implemented for effective communication, controlling and monitoring
Hansagreen is providing guaranteed savings of 1300KW energy and savings of around 1M USD
This project complied with a 10-year warranty that covers every component in the system, which was relatively unique in the lighting industry
